马来西亚大亨陈志远呼吁开放体育博彩 非法DB无法遏制

[i] [/i]面对体育DB合法化的批评，以及ZF相对保持沉默，马来西亚大亨陈志远昨天首度站出来为自己获得的体育DB执照辩护，指一切指控都因为ZZ之故。他称将会反对的三个州提出上诉，呼吁撤销禁止设体育博彩业。8 M% Z' o( ~ \. `5 l, w& `% A
[i] [/i]陈志远也表示，将会将转售其所掌控的爱胜阁博彩有限公司（Ascot Sports Sdn Bhd）70%股权予上市公司成功集团，并将此获得的5亿2500万令吉悉数捐予其所拥有的“让马来西亚更美好基金会”，以便用在教育与奖学金慈善援助方面。6 k" u* f$ j9 ?0 `) N: I
[i] [/i]不过，陈志远深信上述州ZF的禁令对体育DB的营运不会有多大影响，因为75%的下注将以电话联系完成，而另外25%下注则来自220间多多万字票投注站。他并强调所有的赌注都是现款，不接受赊账。

4 Q, a7 R+ D& n+ \% s! X6 i[i] [/i]陈志远表示，体育DB合法化有很多好处。非法DB每年的总收入估计达200亿至300亿，假设其税收是10%，那么大约20亿至30亿的税收白白流失了。这些税务其实可以减低ZF的财政负担。
) f: n7 E7 F$ e. a3 C @[i] [/i]他说，没有多少人知道非法的投注集团其实跟非法借贷勾结，他们鼓励赌客赊账投注，而赌客无法付债时，就介绍他们给高利贷，这是非法赌球的祸源。而合法的DB只以现金交易，就会杜绝这类问题。. Q9 L% c; h/ E- `8 ^$ }" m
[i] [/i]他表示，不明白为什么有人反对体育DB合法化，但强调尽管警方尽力打击，非法DB还是猖獗难灭，“网上有5000个DB网站，如何禁止”。他讽刺说，难道赌客就不会上网赌吗？. E+ b& ~5 ?: Z4 w. {( W3 o0 O" p
