比推消息，Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 最近涉足大宗商品借贷领域，他表示，到 2026 年，Tether Investment 为原材料交易融资而设立的流动资金池规模可能会增长到 30 亿至 50 亿美元之间。
Ardoino表示，最新成立的 Tether Investments 计划向大宗商品经纪商提供资金贷款，并从临时融资中赚取利息。他补充说，Tether Investments 已经与该行业一些最大的大宗商品交易商合作。出于隐私原因，Tether 高管拒绝透露任何交易公司的名字。10 月份，Tether为“装载和运输” 67 万桶中东原油的交易提供融资，价值约 4500 万美元。
Tether 此前表示，Tether Investments 成立的目的是支持“价值 10 万亿美元的贸易融资行业”。
