比推消息，据 Arweave 创始人 Sam Williams 在社交媒体 X 发推透露，Arweave 生态 Web3 存储方案 Irys（原 Bundlr）「出于贪婪」正计划分叉 Arweave，并且打算删除数据集重置代币供应。Sam Williams 指出，Arweave 网络中有一个被称为“协议演进”（protocol evolution）的既定机制，允许以安全的方式分叉和升级网络，但 Irys 并没有这么做。
目前 Arweave 已在「up.arweave.net」上提供了一个全新且完全免费的 Irys 兼容捆绑器，用户只需将 Irys 节点 URL 替换为该 URL 即可使用且能解决 Arweave 用户问题。鉴于当前情况，ar.io 将从 Arweave 主网关的可信集中删除 Irys 捆绑程序，此举会导致用户数据可用之前出现严重延迟，Arweave 也将很快举行一场 X Spaces 活动来说明此事。
