撰文：flowie 区块链游戏公司 Limit Break 近日宣布完成 2 亿美元融资，成为近几个月单笔融资金额最高的加密项目，而本轮融资背后投资方阵容也十分瞩目，领投方是 Paradigm、Josh Buckley 和 Standard Crypto ，参投方有 FTX、Coinbase、Positive Sum、Shervinator 和 Anthos Capital 等。 融资消息官宣后，Limit Break 于 8月 10 日刚发售的 NFT系列 DigiDaigaku ，在 OpenSea 上 24h 之内的交易量位居第一，地板价已涨到 15.8 ETH，高峰期一度涨至 18 ETH 左右。而DigiDaigaku 还是以 Stealth Drop ( 隐形发射 ) + Free Mint 的形式发售。 
从 Free Mint 到15.8ETH的地板价，DigiDaigaku 在熊市之下完成了超乎想象的逆势增长。 但无论是 DigiDaigaku 还是 Limit Break ，在此次融资官宣前却鲜有发声。这家被顶级投资方组团重金押注的Limit Break 带来了哪些创新看点？团队又是什么来头？ “Free to Own”，一种创新模式？Limit Break 提出的新理念 “Free to Own”（免费拥有）模式，是目前最吸睛、同时也是最受质疑的一个讨论部分。 Limit Breack 创始人&CEO Gabriel Leydon 自称 “Free to Own” 是革掉 “Play to Earn” 的新玩法，但究竟什么 “Free to Own”？ 我们来看 Gabriel Leydon 在采访中的解释：相比与链游中需要预先购买 NFT，“Free to Own” 模式下，NFT 是免费赠送给初始玩家，而创世的 NFT 资产可以成为“未来资产的工厂”，持有者可以通过这款 NFT 获得未来更多的 NFT。 那这么做的背后逻辑是什么？Gabriel Leydon 认为这种做法将避免公司先销售 NFT，然后无法交付游戏的欺诈行为。相反，通过赠送 NFT可以将粉丝变成即将到来的游戏最佳拥护者，让粉丝们以病毒式的方式宣传游戏。“由于玩家从零开始，而不是从赤字开始，所以没有那么有动力立即赚钱，从而有更长时间的花在游戏上。” Gabriel Leydon 认为“Free to Own”模式将淘汰免费游戏和 NFT 预售模式，并表示“Free to Own”的简单性是公司能融到如此多资金的原因之一。 如果免费发售，那开发商该如何赚钱呢？Gabriel Leydon 的意思是，团队为自己保留了一定比例的NFT，可以以市场价出售给新玩家。值得一提的是，其实开发商的利润其实还有高达10%的版税。 但目前通篇看下来只留下一个疑问：“ Free to Own ” 和 “ Free Mint ” 模式有啥区别？ DigiDaigaku 目前只是以 Stealth Drop( 隐形发射 )+ Free Mint 的形式发售，对于下一步的计划，Gabriel Leydon 称因为不希望有别人模仿，暂时不对外公布。 仅就 Gabriel Leydon 的采访和其它公开资料中都很难看到两者有所不同，“Free to Own” 似乎“Free Mint” 的另一种高级说法，难免有新瓶装旧酒之嫌。 而提到的 NFT 背后的游戏目前还没发布，同时也查不到任何游戏的动态，Gabriel |
